gener-8 lite software and site hosting is leased on a monthly basis to provide an affordable solution for small to medium businesses.
The gener-8 lite licence allows the licensee to host a single gener-8 website on a server designated by autom-8 pty ltd.
Each gener-8 lite licence includes the base publishing module and one sub-web. Should the licensee wish to have more than one sub-web they may purchase multiple gener-8 lite licences.
Professional or enterprise licenses are available for those wanting to host on their own server.
The gener-8 professional licence allows the licensee to host and use the gener-8 software (and site) on a server of their choice. (See technical requirements)
A professional licence (primary) entitles the licensee to use the gener-8 software to maintain a site on a single domain. If the licensee wishes to obtain rights to use the software for more than one domain, an additional professional license (secondary) will need to be purchased for each additional domain for which the gener-8 software is to be used.
Secondary professional licenses are discounted by 25% off the standard gener-8 professional licence cost where the license is for the same entity.
If an entity wishes to host the site on their own server and has a large number of domains, the licensee may wish to consider the enterprise license.
The professional licence does not include gener-8 add-on modules and components and these are licensed separately.

This licence contains no restrictions on the number of sub-webs belonging to the organisation that can be hosted on the server. Multiple domains may be used for the sub-webs hosted on the server.
