Chat can be used to increase interaction with and between visitors to your website by allowing to have real time discussions and get immediate responses to their questions and comments. Let visitors talk to one another, or to a selected group about shared interests and concerns. Chat rooms can be permanently open or created for short time frames for scheduled chats on specific topics.
You can make your chat rooms available to everyone or limited them to selected participants.
Chat is a flexible, real-time tool that facilitates discussion and communication.
Chat allows site administrators to create, modify and delete chat rooms. Each room can be set to permanent, or temporary - temporary rooms will be removed after a specified time.
Administrators can also change general administrative settings (time outs, etc), boot users for inappropriate behaviour and block words and phrases that are deemed inappropriate to the room purpose.
Inappropriate words can be added to a block list and alternative words or characters will replace each inappropriate word used in a chat room. Administrators can choose whether to automatically kick participants from chat if they block words frequently or whether to allow them to continue chatting.
For legal reasons, site administrators may want chat participants agree to terms and conditions of using chat before they can commence chatting. An optional feature is available where participants must either agree to the terms and conditions to access chat. (If they do not agree they cannot commence chatting).
