module overview
Online communities are used to create private areas for members, clubs and virtual project offices for workgroups to share resources and communicate with one another that are not accessible to the public.
Communities can contain any combination of the tools and resources below:
- member listing (contact details and email facilities)
- frequently asked questions database (version 3.1 or above)
- document management system (version 3.1 or above)
- links database (version 3.1 or above)
- surveys and online form module
- forums
- contact directory (version 3.1 or above)
- calendar (version 3.3 or above)

- a website can have any number of communities.
- each member can belong to one or more communities
- each community can contain any mix of tools (Each module included in community environments must be licensed by the organisation).
future enhancements
Older modules being reviewed and newly developed modules will all be community enabled.
